F and F# Open Chords You Never Knew Existed

Last updated on November 21, 2019

If you’re following our series of open chords you probably never even considered, the F and F# ones, most of which you may never actually need, are a great workout for your fretting hand. I’ve put the suggested fingering under each of the chord diagrams, but feel free to use your own preferred fingering if that’s more comfortable.

As ever with these obscure open chords, use them to exercise your fingers, provide inspiration and even learn some new chords if you can find a use for them.
